Before entering in the Accounting and Tax Consulting field, Julio has developed a 16-year career in Accounting, Tax, Financial and Sales sectors.
In 1991, he has joined as an account assistant in a textile industry for three years, where he has developed an ascending career in tasks of high complexity in his line of work. Then, in 1994, he was recruited by Petrobras Distribuidora as a "third party", to develop a new process of posting the employees’ payroll.
After completion of this project, which lasted two years, Petrobras has invited him to assume the position of Sales Manager for Fuel Stations, where he had great experience and learning in the petrochemical industry.
In 1997, he was invited by a gas station branch to manage all finance and administration area from the group; he was distinguished by implementing in one of the stations, a convenience store and operationally managed this business.
In 2000, he was recruited as Accounting, Tax and Financial analyst at Clorox Brazil, where he had great participation in the implementation of ERP SAP / R3. He had experienced the functioning of an industry and its complexities to develop a focused career as a controller. In 2003 he was recruited by Interchange, a company in IT services, which he had a large rise in his career coming to the hole of Controller Coordinator, by mid-year 2007.
After these 16 years, starting in May 2007, he was invited to work at Grant Thornton Consulting Service, it is an Outsourcing company in the Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Financial and Billing. For six years he had developed an ascending career, being hired as Accounting Supervisor, two years after becoming an Accounting Manager and after a year and a half he has becoming a Managing Director, responsible for a subsidiary with 140 employees and 115 customers (90% multinational), whose main functions: managing teams and clients; responsible for the execution and delivery of outsourced services; control of worked hours x customer’s profitability; fees renegotiation and customer prospecting.
In May 2013, with two more Grant Thornton’s partners members, he has set up his own consultancy, GR Group Consultoria Contábil.
